Challenging Behaviour

In addition to teaching new skills, our Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA) are trained to reduce challenging behaviours. These behaviours can cause barriers to learning and barriers to accessing social opportunities in the home and community.

Without a doubt, all behaviour serves a function, whether challenging or pro-social. Through systematic assessment we aim to find the function or reason for the challenging behaviour. Most importantly, this allows us to best design strategies for reducing this behaviour.
